Vegas - February Getaway

Our Vegas trip. Just after dinner on our second night. Here we are at the Venetian Hotel.

Me, Craig, Rick, Ann and Len.

A Cold February Morning

I am waiting for a day to add color to this picture and add some pink tulips with a bit of green.

February Journal / close up

This is Craig, I think he must be about 3 years old. I always thought this was a cute picture of him. The background sunset is from a picture I took from our front porch in Sturgeon Bay, WI.

Of course you can click on any picture to enlarge it.

February Journal Page

The background is torn paper, to show a couple of trees with a colorful sunset in the background. I wished I would have taken a picture before glueing on the squares. I was really happy with it and now of course the squares (days) are covering up the trees.

January all filled in

Match Boxes

Here are some match box covers I've made. Not a lot to say about them but I had fun doing them.

Title Page for 2010 Journal

This is my title page. The little girl is my great Aunt Irene.
The heart is a scanned copy from a little homemade Raggety Ann doll I bought about 20 years ago. I painted the wings and the watercolor of Irene was done about 8 years ago.

This is a picture I took of the outside door nob at my favorite Inn in Marshall, Michigan. I added a quote and made this photo into a card.

Journal Cover

This is the cover to my journal.
The background is a photo of our family clock's face.
I added vintage lace to the top and the little girl is me
taken from a Christmas photo.

Crystal Candles

The warm and sunny patio where we spent many spring, summer and fall days is now cold, white, and quiet.
