Modeling Clay Character by Fox Coulon

Fox came for a visit and we stopped at Hobby Lobby to buy some modeling clay. He was quietly working at the kitchen table and this is what he made. The whole group of Scooby Do Characters. Good Job Fox.

Little bag for Erin's Shower Gift

I bought the little lace hankey at an antique sale and wasn't sure what to do with it. A few weeks later I had a shower gift to wrap and came up with this little bag with ribbon handles. I made an alterned art tag to go along with it.

This is Craig, I think he must be about 3 years old. I always thought this was a cute picture of him. The background sunset is from a picture I took from our front porch in Sturgeon Bay, WI.

The background is torn paper, to show a couple of trees with a colorful sunset in the background. I wished I would have taken a picture before glueing on the squares. I was really happy with it and now of course the squares (days) are covering up the trees.

Title Page for 2010 Journal

This is my title page. The little girl is my great Aunt Irene.
The heart is a scanned copy from a little homemade Raggety Ann doll I bought about 20 years ago. I painted the wings and the watercolor of Irene was done about 8 years ago.

This is a picture I took of the outside door nob at my favorite Inn in Marshall, Michigan. I added a quote and made this photo into a card.

2010 Journal January

Well, here is my first month journal, all finished except for the entries. The pine tree to the left was taken from an after Christmas drive home in Michigan through the U.P.

The lady to the right is a watercolor of my great Aunt Irene. I left the middle white to represent snow. I've really had a lot of fun so far with this. I hope I can make it through all 12 months.
